MAS Sponsors STEM Education Reform Summit

On 25 April 2009, the Masachusetts Academy of Sciences sponsored a forum on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education to identify a set of priorities in STEM education reform in Massachusetts. MAS is Forging Industry/Academic/K-12 School Partnerships

The MAS is starting a new initiative in September 2009, which involves matching Massachusetts K-12 public schools with industrial and/or academic partners. These partnerships will provide simple, direct access for STEM teachers.
