Chill Out Update
My blog is finally up and running! Check it out:Sara's Blog. I am so excited about it, and I'll be updating it frequently, so keep checking back!
Also, for all you physics lovers out there, I found a really fun, cool interactive website. It's called Fantastic Contraption. You get to design your own wheeled machine to reach a goal with the tools they give you, and you advance through different levels that increase in difficulty. So, have fun with it, and remember, as always, to think, explore, learn in the process!

Hey Everyone!
I am guessing you are here because you are interested in science. I must say, you have taken a very important first step. All of the greatest scientists the world has ever known all started off with one thing in common: they wanted to understand the world they lived in. This hunger for knowledge sparked a passion for science, which is what the MAS hopes to do for you. Everyone, from Galileo to Albert Einstein and beyond, started off as a kid your age, with a lot of big questions rolling around in their heads. The goal of the MAS is to provide you with resources to fuel your interest. We want to provide you with articles you can read that are easy to understand, so you can develop a background that helps you get the more complicated stuff. We want you to get messy trying out our cool experiments so you realize that science and fun go hand-in-hand. We want to show you fun places to go with your family so you can have some hands-on fun while learning at the same time. We want to help you develop good habits that every scientist needs to get into, like keeping a good notebook. But, most importantly, we want you to feel like you have somewhere to turn to, where people actually get you and your interests. YOU are the most important piece of the puzzle in the world of science, because YOU are going to be tomorrow's doctor, or nurse, or biologist, or chemist, or physicist. So, the bottom line? Science is cool, and the MAS is here for YOU, because YOU are important. With that in mind, I hope you will take the opportunity to send us your ideas and to contribute. Write us little articles on your favorite ideas or subjects in science, submit experiment ideas, submit any questions you have, whatever! Get your name out there and get a head start on your quest to become a scientist. Just remember, we are here for you, so e-mail me if you need ANYTHING! And, as always, think, explore, learn.
Sincerely,
Sara Cody
